Last Spring Break – the whole family went to Japan for a vacation. Remember when I wrote before how Japan has always called my soul? Well, my soul finally answered the call.
And man – it was everything I imagined it to be and more. I cried when we landed on our first day, cried when we started walking the streets of Tokyo, cried when our plane took off on our last day.

This has been a long time coming. Hehehe. 🙂 The photos have been in my storage for quite some time… But – I finally have time to post them today! Yay for me!
The wedding, though a simple affair, was a beautiful one – full of emotion and love and happiness. What’s more – it was the holiday season so the snow and the festive atmosphere helped with the shots I took.
Taken with my ever trusty Nikon D40, using either my 50MM and my 70MM as well as my 35MM for wide angle shots. Settings varied depending on where I was shooting. 🙂 Minor PP just for color correction and a little glow for that whimsical feel.

So this has been a long time coming. I said way back that I was going to post the food photos that I took when we were vacationing in the Philippines during the summer. But then – too many things happened for the past days that this has been put in the back burner for quite some time. 😅
But anyway – here they are. Better late than never right? All of them are on my Instagram feed, actually. But I’m posting it here in a slideshow for those that haven’t seen them yet. 🤗
As you well can see from the photos – food in the Philippines is the bomb. But that could be since I grew up with these foods. They’re what you might call – my comfort food given that they remind me of my childhood and how I lived when I was back in the Philippines. Biases aside though – I would really love for you to try Filipino foods. Even the ones that are American or Japanese but made in the Philippines. Most of the Filipino delicacies are really delicious.
And of course – nothing can beat Jollibee for me. Ever.
So I finally was able to go through the photos that I took of my friend, Salve, and her beautiful family. These were taken last December 2016 when they came here for a visit in Boise. And with the winter and snow as a backdrop, who could resist an impromptu family photo shoot? 😍😍😍
Who could resist those chinky eyes and chubby cheeks? 😍 I fell inlove with this little one that I had to just lie on the floor with her and take this photo 💛
Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have queries about this or if you simply want to chat. ☺️
I’m excited to be working on my photography again this week. I had a shoot with a good friend of mine last Christmas. She asked me to take portraits of her beautiful family with the Idaho winter as backdrop. 💛
I’m just able to go through all my photos of them this week and I’m hoping to get everything edited and finished by next week. I need to work double time this weekend then so I could finish everything. 😅
I’ll post the finished product under my photography portfolio here once I’m done. But for now, here’s a preview of what I’ve been working on so far. ☺️

You may not be perfect but you’re still the best dad that our kids have. Thank you for being their dad. It’s not easy, I know, but I also see how much you give and do for them and how much you love them, us. We love you back, gazillions of times. 💛 Happy Father’s Day Hun. 😘 #RinnahAndConiah #FathersDay #lovesofmylife #family
These are photos that I randomly shot from the year 2006 to 2011 all using my trusty Nikon Camera (yes, my camera is that old. I know I need to replace it but…).
I don’t remember most of my settings here (although I would be able to tell if I study each photo hard enough, lol) and most of my ‘models’ were either my own family or set of friends. Well, there are a couple of celebrities in there but they were friends (or rather acquaintances/workmates) when I took their shots. Hehe.
Anyway – enjoy! 🙂
I didn’t really like the set of photos that I took for this shoot. 😦 There were numerous models and I wasn’t entirely happy with the batch I took. But this is the only photo from that shoot that I really did love. So I will only post this one photo from that. 🙂
